Publishers Party Night in the West End of London

CRIMESQUAD.COM was caught up in the excitement and intrigue of the Specsavers ITV3 Crime/Thriller Awards (in association with the CWA) by being invited to two soirees on one night prior to the main event at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.

First off to Orion to see Harlan Coben, Gillian Flynn and Lawrence Block... all flown in especially to get the news of their nominations in various categories. Drinks and nibbles at the Groucho Club was a very pleasant start to a busy evening.

Next we walked across the West End to a delightfully intimate private space at the Salisbury on St Martin’s Lane. One of London’s most spectacularly original Victorian pubs was host to a gathering to meet John Murray publishers Awards hopeful, John Hart.
